James, age 84, of Marble Hill, MO passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born October 7, 1925 in Zalma, MO, daughter of Jim and Rosa Moore Hill. She and Ernie James were married on June 15, 1946 and he died March 18, 1975. Beatrice had worked for the Hat Factory in Marble Hill as a seamstress, she was a member of the VFW Post #5900 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the New Sylvan General Baptist Church and previous Secretary for Lutesville General Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Robert James of Marble Hill, MO; Richard James of Perryville, MO; two daughters, Joan C. Seibert of Perkins, GA; Louella E. Bollinger of Marble Hill; one brother, Marvin Hill of Marble Hill; thirteen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, three brothers, and five sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill. Our hearts go out to you in this time of sorrow. We pray God will given you comfort and peace. Beatrice was a wonderful person and we will miss her greatly. We will be praying for each one of you. So sorry about Beatrice i just talked to her shortly before her accident she was a lovely and happy as she always was .How life can be so fast.I can still feel her hand in mine as we talked on that sunny day that turned dark so quickly, My she rest in the loving arms of god and she can now smile and be joyous for him. Our thoughts and prayers to the family,Sister Bea was a beautiful lady loved by many Dear Family, I have decided to follow Jesus, I have decided to follow Jesus, I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back. Bea never turned back and she was a genuine christian in every way. She was a wonderful human being, always smiling, always ready to talk. She wasn't afraid to serve the Lord wherever and she was one of the few people who would walk to church at Lutesville no matter the weather. We love you Bea and we will never forget you, travel shouting into the waiting arms of Jesus, find our families and tell them we are coming. Love always.
