Thursday, August 09, 1923 to Sunday, March 21, 2010 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church near Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Bonnie Jean Grindstaff, age 86, of Marble Hill, MO, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born August 9, 1923 in Marble Hill, MO, daughter of Otto W. and Dora Mae Barks Reutzel. She and Rev. Floyd Grindstaff were united in marriage on December 16, 1941 and he died on February 8, 2006. Mrs. Grindstaff had worked for the Woodland School District and Jackson Manor as a Cook, and was a member of the Lutesville General Baptist Church. Survivors include; three daughters, Floyce Jean Irvin and Jane Laxton, both of Farmington, MO; Paulette Jackson, of Marble Hill; one brother, Cletus Reutzel of Jackson; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Orville Reutzel, and two sisters, Clodine Barks and Ruby Kirkpatrick. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Then on Wednesday morning at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until time of services. Funeral service will be Wednesday, at 11:00 AM at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church with Rev Jimmie Fulbright and Rev. Steven Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Fork Church Cemetery. Dear Family, Even though you did not want to give up this precious lady, you are comforted by the knowledge that the promises of God in His Word are true. She is now already experiencing the wonderful glories of Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ who loved her and died for her. This is not a permanent separation, but rather just a temporary pause in life together.... May you know the true peace and comfort that comes from Jesus Christ alone, as you go through these difficult days, weeks, and months! With our deep sympathy and many prayers, Dave & Mary Ann Cummings I am so sorry to hear about your momma.
