Thursday, March 03, 1938 to Thursday, January 06, 2011 A Resident of Glen Allen, MO Visitation Services will be held on Sunday, January 09, 2011 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Camp Eight Cemetery near Greenville, MO Bro. Paul Dewayne Sutt, age 72, of Glen Allen and formerly of Silva, MO passed away on January 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1938 at Patterson, MO; son of Harvey and Nora Kean Sutt. He and Norene Morris were united in marriage on November 30, 1957. Rev. Sutt started preaching in 1965, was the current pastor of Cowan General Baptist Church in Hiram, MO; was a retired School Bus Driver from the Greenville School District, and he enjoyed fishing, singing with his family, playing the guitar and mowing cemeteries. Survivors include: his wife, Norene Sutt of Glen Allen; four daughters, Cindy ( Marvin) Kirkpatrick; Sheila (Wain) Kirkpatrick both of Glen Allen; B. J. (Preston) Price of Benton, MO; Nona (Gerry) Allen of Patterson, MO; one brother, Jerry (Jackie) Sutt of St. Clair, MO; three sisters, Loretta (Richard) Gosnell of Granite City, IL; Mary (Stanley) Smith of Mitchell, IL; Thelma Seiber of Garland, TX; eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Amanda, one brother Vernon, one sisters, Juanita, one granddaughter Cheryl Kirkpatrick, and one great-granddaughter Delilah Fancher. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made for the family use. Visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO. Funeral Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alan Casey and Bro. Randol White officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Eight Cemetery near Greenville. Martin and Sue Scheffer I'm so sorry for your loss...my biggest regret is not coming to visit sooner nor letting him get to see my daughter Samantha who would have loved to have got to meet him & know who he was... Wayne, When I got that sad call early this morning, couldn't help but think of our childhood memories. When you started k school. You got so sick everyday. The school would bring you home. And WE could have a good time playing. You go to chook get sick, they bring you home. Mom finaly caught on to what was happening. She told them I think if you let his sister go with him, he will be alright. they told Mom to send me with you. And your illiness was over. We played at school. As we grew older 5th grade the kids thought we were twins. But, Norene came into our lives in 1st, 2nd grade. Norene was MY best friend (I thought) really it was you she was going for. That was the beginning of a wonderful life for you. then you both went your seperate ways, but still kept in contact. Our family Hers. Several years later at my wedding shower it startes all over. Norene come and you took her home. Six months later you and she were married. What a wonderful life you have had. You will always be in my heart. Love you Sis. Mark and I are so sorry to hear about your Dad passing away. Our thoughts are with you and Butch and the rest of your family. He is in a far greater place but it doesn't stop any of you from missing him and wanting him back with you. I hope he runs across my Mom and Dad in Heaven - they were two great people that he would have enjoyed knowing while he was here on earth. Wayne, I remeber when i was lilttle how you would get out your guitar and sing and play.going to church over in Est.louis i was supose to sing with you. i fell asleep but i woke up heard you singing witout me. you called me up there and we sang our hearts out ill never forget the good times. one of the funniest things i remember was when i cut my hair and mom found it she said mary ruth whos is this?? about that time you and dad walked thru the door i said its waynes! your light hair and mine was dark. you just laughed at me. i love you brother i know your in a better place and one day we will see each other again. your lil sister To my one and only Uncle Paul.... Paul was a wonderful man and still is I remember him as my bus driver and my friend whom i would help out when he needed a helping hand,I know he has been in bad health for quite a long time but now he is resting peacefuly in Gods hands and he will always be looking down on each and everyone of his family and friends. I WILL TRUELY KEEP HIM IN MY MEMORIES AND PRAY WE CAN ALL MEET ON THE OTHER SIDE AND PLAY IN THE HEAVENLY BAND So sad to hear that Bro. Sutt has left us for awhile - but so happy to know of his Home-going! Known of very few families that have such joy, laughter & humor as yours and feel so blessed & honored that I was able to to have known you! (Also thankful they didn't use the photo of Bro. Sutt in the hospital with his "special glasses"!) Know you are all on our hearts & in our prayers during the days ahead! Praying that God would give you comfort, rest, and assurance that a glad reunion day will come! So sorry for the loss of your father, Marty has told me so many wonderful things about him and your family. in time you all will be with him again, singing and dancing the musics of Heaven.. love ya..Teonna I will never forget all the times that Grandpa would shake his fist at me and ask "You want one of these?"
