Friday, May 05, 1922 to Sunday, March 28, 2004 A Resident of Leopold, MO Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the St John's Catholic Church in Leopold, MO The Final Resting Place is at the St John's Catholic Church Cemetery in Leopold, MO Catherine Marie Elfrink, age 81, of Leopold, Missouri, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 at her home. She was born May 5, 1922, in Leopold, daughter of Henry G. and Barbara M. Hinkebein Seesing. She married Albert Joseph Elfrink on February 26, 1946, in Leopold. Mrs. Elfrink was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church and the St. Anne's Ladies Sodality. In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Elfrink baked and decorated cakes out of her home for approximately 30 years. Survivors include: her husband, two sons Delwin (Theresa) Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, Floyd Elfrink of Italy, TX, two daughters; Sandra (Ralph) Beussink of Leopold, Shirley (Keith) Brotherton of Marble Hill, one brother, John Seesing of Cape Girardeau, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, and one sister, Wilma Elfrink. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2004, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers led by Rev, Tom Kiefer, and Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating and Rev. Scott Sunnenberg assisting as con-celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John's Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Craig, Kyle and Cory Elfrink and Alan Beussink, and godsons, Ted J. Peters and Paul "Chip" Seesing. Readers will be granddaughters, Stacey Elfrink and Molly Brotherton, Participants in the offertory procession will be grandchildren, Becky Beussink, Katelyn and Matthew Brotherton. The organist will be Mary Jansen, who will be accompanied by St. John's Church Choir.
