Tuesday, August 30, 1927 to Monday, March 15, 2010 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Clyde Fulbright, 82, of Marble Hill, MO, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at his home with his wife of almost 62 years and other family members by his side. He was born August 30, 1927, in Mayfield, MO; son of Albert James and Stella Cook Fulbright. He and Velma Dean Devenport were united in marriage on April 11, 1948. Clyde had worked for Deevers Shoe Company and Shell Feed, was a farmer, a member of the Gospel 4 Quartet and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include: his wife, Dean of Marble Hill; and one sister, Velda (Rev. Cecil) Cook of Edwardsville, IL, and two nephews, Terry (Pam) Cook of Glen Carbon, Rev. Clinton (Judy) Cook of Springfield, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. In Lieu of Flowers donations are requested for the Southeast Missouri Hospice. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright and Rev. Clinton Cook officiating. Entombment will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill. I am very sorry for you loss, however Heaven had gained a great soul. The cookie jar was always full and we always got to help feed the calves and chickens. I loved coming there. You will be missed. Our hearts and our minds are definitely richer for knowing you. May God rest your soul and may God watch over Deanie in the days to come. I'm saddened, of course, to note Clyde's passing. Clyde was the bass singer in the Gospel 4, for which my dad played piano. In my young eyes, he was the best bass singer ever, and I still remember a lot of the songs they sang in the early 50's. My prayers and condolences to his family.
