Thursday, April 17, 1930 to Wednesday, December 29, 2010 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Franklin Leonard Clay, age 80, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away December 29, 2010 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 17, 1930 at Hollister, WI; son of Leonard Dee and Edith Mae Meeks Clay. He and Eathel Maurine Vaughn were married June 27, 1963 and she passed away November 6, 2006. Franklin had worked for John Mansville as an assembly line worker, served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was of the Southern Baptist Faith. Survivors include: two sons, Steven Clay of Marble Hill, MO; Allan Clay of Ringgold, GA; one brother, Earl (Debra) Clay of Hollister, WI; four sisters, Vivian Straley of Elton, WI; Alma (Herman) Albricht of Birnamwood, WI; Ella Iris of Slinger, WI; Violet Sprinkler of Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Richard, and five sisters, Marie Marmes Paine, Gladys Vaughn, Blanche Miller, Grace Kainz, Jean Kainz. Visitation will be Friday December 31, 2010 from 11:00 AM until time of Service at 2:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Sowers officiating. Burial will follow at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO. Uncle Frank was a wonderful person, and I loved him very much. He always gave the best hugs, and he had a wonderful smile. Keep his memory close to your heart. I am so very sorry for your loss. Steve & Allan, So sorry to hear about Uncle Frank. I have fond memories of him during visits to Hollister. You're both in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!
