Wednesday, September 14, 1927 to Thursday, February 11, 2016 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, MO Gracie Lucille Garland age 88 of Marble Hill, Missouri passed away on February 11, 2016 at the Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill. She was born on September 14, 1927 in Bollinger County, Missouri; daughter of Davie F. and Oma Jones James. She and Lendwood Garland were united in marriage on August 11, 1943 and he passed away on October 7, 1993. Gracie was a homemaker who loved to work in the garden, piece quilts, hand quilt, embroidery and sewing, playing the piano and singing, and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include; her son Frank (Wanda) Garland Sedgewickville, Missouri; daughters Grace (Oda) Cook of Millersville, Missouri; Carolyn Buckner of Marble Hill, Missouri; Katherine (Ronnie) Cook of Marble Hill, Missouri; Virginia (Harold) Bilek of Millersville, Missouri; brother Jim James of Jackson, Missouri; sisters Edna Cook of Marble Hill, Missouri; Nettie Jacobs of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Norma Jean Proffer of Jackson, Missouri; Linda Bazzell of Jackson, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, parents, son David Lynn Garland, brothers Jack, Lindell, Glen, sisters Louise, Nellie Ruth, two infant sisters, grandchildren Chad Michael Garland, Jennifer Lynn Garland and one great-great-granddaughter Lily Michelle Cook. In Lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Pulliam Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright and Rev. Don Estes officiating.
