Turner, 81, of Advance, MO and formerly of Patton, MO was called to his heavenly home August 6, 2009, to join his loving wife, Drucilla. Harrel was born January 12, 1928 at Mickey, Tennessee to Joseph and Wilmoth Buchanan Turner. He grew up in Forest City, Ark. He and Drucilla G. Sutterfield were married September 14, 1947 in Arkansas and she died October 18, 1990. He was a farmer, a member of the Bollinger County Livestock Producers Association, and was a long time member of the Marble Hill Church of Christ. He had attended the Jackson Church of Christ and at the time of his death was attending the Advance Church of Christ. Harrel is survived by a daughter, Karen (JC) Cook, Advance; a son, Kenneth Turner, Patton; a brother, John Turner, Athens, TX; Grandchildren: Robert E. McCoy III, Marble Hill; Bryan (Wendy) McCoy, Jackson, MO; Jenni (Brad) Teichman, Chaffee, MO; Jon (Penny) Cook, Chaffee, MO; Steven (Kim) Cook, Marble Hill; Step Grandchildren: Sue (Ray) Gipson, Coldwater, MO; Vicky Staley, St. Louis, MO; Great Grandchildren: Kim (Rob) Haupt, Portageville, MO; Brandon & Stacey Kohrman, Jackson; Taimen Taylor, Michael, Holly and Morgan Rutherford, Chaffee, MO; Madison Cook, Chaffee, MO; Chloe Baker, Marble Hill; Stacey (Kevin) Gipson, Coldwater, MO; Andrew Gipson, Coldwater, MO; Jessica and Madison Staley, St. Louis, MO; and Two Great Great Grandchildren: Devyn and Aidyn Haupt, Portageville, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Carlos, James and Roland Turner. Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The Funeral will be Sunday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home chapel with Dwayne Duncan and Kyle Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
