Saturday, December 04, 1920 to Saturday, December 26, 2009 A Resident of Crossville, TN Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX Helen Leona Hickam Price, 89, passed away in her sleep on December 26, 2009, in Crossville, Tennessee. She was born December 4, 1920 in Lutesville, Missouri, daughter of James Isaac Hickam and Isabelle Eaker. She and her family lived in El Paso, Texas; Okinawa; Japan; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Stuttgart, Germany; before settling in El Paso, for their retirement. Her love for the mountains in New Mexico led her to live there for several years before her death. Survivors include; two daughters, Nancy Ann Price Martin of Crossville, Tennessee; and Rebecca Susan Price and grandson, Collin James Armontrout of Granbury, Texas; and one sister, Jewell Lillie, of Indio, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Herbert H. Price and son, David Roland Price. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7603; (800) 272-3000. A memorial service will be held on January 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Liley Funeral Home, in Marble Hill, Missouri. She will be buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, in El Paso, Texas, with her husband and son. My husband and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Helen. Sometimes words are hard to express at moments like this, both of us truly understand the pain of losing one so dear to you. We wanted to share with you something that has brought us much comfort at a similar time in our lives. Psalm 34:18 reassures us that we are never alone, and John 11:14-44 shows us the experience of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus, here on earth, before the very eyes of those he loved. We can only imagine the tears of joy when we too, are reunited with our dear loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) Helen will surly be missed by many of those who's lives she shared, remember the experiences you shared together and learn from them, hold them close to your hearts and cherish them.
