Friday, January 04, 1924 to Monday, February 11, 2008 A Resident of St Louis, MO Visitation Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, MO Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Marcus Memorial in Fredericktown, MO Lester Odell Fulbright, 84, of St. Louis and formerly of Marble Hill, MO, died Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton, Missouri. He was born January 4, 1924 at Hurricane, MO, son of William Amos and Mary E. Causey Fulbright. He and Dorothy Bennett were married April 2, 1949 and she died March 28, 2005. He was a retired cabinet builder, a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis and served his country during WWII in the United States Army. Survivors include a son Kenneth Fulbright, Clarksburg, MO, a brother Jess Fulbright, Marble Hill, a sister Sarah F. Welker, Marble Hill, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Albert, Charley, Truman, four sisters; Etta Fulbright, Maude Cook, Myrtle Cook and Esther Tadlock. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the Liley Funeral in Patton. The funeral will be at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Fulbright and Rev Jeff Garland officiating. The burial with full military rites will follow at the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown, MO. Ihave known Sharon Kay since she and I were in grade school in Sedgewickville and on into high school in Patton. We saw each other when my wife and I traveled down for the school reunions over the Easter weekend and was looking forward to visiting with her and everyone else this year. She was a kind and gentle person who seemed to never meet a stranger. I will miss her deeply and send my fondest condolences to her family and friends. Gary Seabaugh Sharon and I shared many years of Bell travel time and working together from Cape to Flat River, Farmington, the bootheal. We shared many laughs and tears. She will be sadly missed.
