Sunday, November 16, 1924 to Thursday, January 01, 2009 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Sunday, January 04, 2009 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 05, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the St Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, MO The Final Resting Place is at the St Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery in Glennon, MO Margaret Mary Vandeven, 84, of Marble Hill, MO died Thursday, January 1, 2009, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, MO. She was born November 16, 1924 in Lutesville, MO daughter of Gerhard and Josephine Laurentius Terbrock. She and Lawrence J. Vandeven were married November 9, 1946 and he died July 1, 1958. She was a housewife, farmer and had worked for VIP Industries as supervisor in the work shop and a house parent, a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and a member of the Ladies Sodality. Survivors include; two sons; Theodore Vandeven of Puxico, Robert Vandeven of Forestell, MO, two daughters, Marilyn Smith of Caledonia, MO, Doris Brooks of Farmington, three brothers, Charles Terbrock of Forestell, Bernard Terbrock of St. Charles, Robert Terbrock of St. Peters, two sisters, Marcella Borgmeyer and Mary Simpkin both of St. Charles, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO with KC Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:00 AM, at the St. Anthony's Church in Glennon, MO with Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Dear Marilyn, I wes very sorry to read about your mother. I was happy to be able to talk to her at length at the time of Aunt Kat's death. I know you will miss her. She was stalwart and resilient, as all people raised in MO are. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Gordon and the rest of the family. I will always remember your Mother making doughnuts for us and also what a really good neighbor and friend she was for my parents and especially my brother Joe. Dear Marilyn and family. I am very sorry to read about your mom passing away. However I never met her, I know how it feels to loose your mom, and of course Hans met her when he was in the USA and has just good memories.
