Wednesday, May 25, 1927 to Monday, September 19, 2011 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill United Methodist Church in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill United Methodist Church in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Mary Jane Crader went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, September 19, 2011. She was born on May 25, 1927 in Marble Hill, MO to John and Mae Filer Kinder. On June 18, 1948, she was united in marriage to J. Roy Crader in Piggott, AR, and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1999. Mary had worked in the Division of Employment Security, taught school at Trace Creek and the Zalma Area , was a Substitute teacher at Marble Hill, worked for Glenn Seabaugh in the Insurance office, selling car License and titles. She worked for the County Superintendant of Schools for the 50 Schools in Bollinger County and worked in the Shipyards office in Richmond, CA during WWII. In 1958 she was elected to the office of County Clerk in Bollinger County for 5 terms then was elected to the Treasures office for 1 term, and was a long time member of the Marble Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Mark (Mary) and Lynn (Kathleen) of Sikeston; one daughter Sherry (Jr.)Baker of Marble Hill, six grandchildren, Laura King, Chris (Anne) Crader, and Erin and Ella Crader all of Sikeston, Lisa Baker of Marble Hill; and Adam (Sara) Baker of Cape Girardeau, MO; three great-grandchildren, Kristin King and Benton Crader of Sikeston, and Grace Baker of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Ercle (Margie) Kinder of Marble Hill; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Edward, a sister, Ella Mae, and a grandson, David A. Baker. Visitation will be September 23, 2011 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill United Methodist Church in Marble Hill, MO with Lynn Crader officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO. Dear Sherry, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I love Ms. Mary Jane and I didn't know she had even passed away until after she was buried. My prayers go your way. I know it has to be hard losing a parent. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.- Tammy Mary Jane was a wonderful lady, kind and very supportive of me. I have happy memories of her and Jr. at our Crader reunions. May her reward in heaven be great. Sherry, I hated to see that Mary Jane had passed. She was quite a lady. I can't be there today, but my thoughts are with you. Just thinking, probably a good thing that courthouse didn't have ears. Myra K can probably verify that...Good memories. To Mary Jane's Family We are praying for Gods 's love to surround you and help you through this time of sorrow. Mary Jane was a pillar to this community! She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. I'm sure she will do the same when she is received by our heavenly Father. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Farewell to a dear Lady. What a great lady! She will forever be in my heart. It's a sad day when we say goodbye to someone so special. What a wonderful day in Heaven when she arrived! There will be a hole in our church and a hole in our hearts without her. Praise God that she will be waiting for us at the end our our journey.
