Thursday, March 08, 1956 to Friday, May 28, 2010 A Resident of Grassy, MO Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 02, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Grassy Friendship Cemetery in Grassy, MO Mary Jane Stewart, 54, of Grassy, MO, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1956 at St. Louis, MO; daughter of Joseph A and Lula Bea Williams Stewart. Mary was the Director of Electronics Technology and Production at the St. Louis Science Center. Survivors include: one son, James A. "Tony" (Heather) Stewart of Troy, MO; one daughter, Danielle Marie Stewart of Ballwin, MO; three brothers, Larry Joe Stewart of Aztec, NM; Donald Ray Stewart of Grassy, MO; Wm. Alan Stewart of Glen Allen, MO; two sisters, Joyce Hayhurst of McGregor, TX; Linda Werth of Goshen, ID, and one grandson Jase Stewart. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and James Stewart. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Sander and Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Grassy Friendship Cemetery in Grassy. My deepest condolences to the Stewart family. I am deeply saddened, and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Danielle, and your family. It is so hard to lose a parent, and Mary was a special person to so many others as well. I enjoyed working with her, and will never forget her kindness to my kids when they would come visit the science center. Mary touched many lives, and I am grateful for how her life touched mine. I am so very sorry, Danielle. Your mom had a big impact on the Discovery Room. We will not forget her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
