Sunday, March 17, 1929 to Sunday, April 29, 2012 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, May 01, 2012 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 02, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Opal A. Fulbright, 83, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her daughter's home. She was born March 17, 1929 at Hurricane, MO; daughter of the Late Jonas and Nancy Elizabeth Garland Long. She and Rev. Truman Fulbright were united in marriage in November 1945 and he passed away on May 21, 1949, to this union were born Bonnie Ruth who precedes her in death, J. Faye (Jerry) Garland, grandchildren Mike Garland and Jeff (Candi) Garland and their children Bryant and Isaac. She then married Jessie Lee Fulbright on March 29, 1952 and he passed away on July 5, 2008, to this union were born Tammy (Scott) Hanners and their children Mary (Eric) Bollinger, Laura and Bonnie Hanners. She was a retired sewer for the International Hat Co. of Marble Hill, and a member of the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church. Other survivors include; brother Junior W. Long of Grassy; sister Martha Compass of Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Francis and Elzie Long and sister Juanita Long. Visitation will be Tuesday after 4:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Then on Wednesday at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church from 9:30 until 11:00 AM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the church with the Rev. Jerry Sander and Rev Jeff Garland officiating. The burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Faye, Tammy and family, I'm so sorry ,I didn't know That sister Opal had gone home.I've been missin' the church family,her included,of course. One of the last times I drove by her house on the way to visit Don's grave,I saw her watching out the door,looking kinda worried and lost. I remember I prayed for her the rest of the day.I remember the first time I met her at church,I just had to be related to somebody,and since my niece,Cheryl Lynn is married to Bro. Steven's youngest brother,Randy Joe, she came to the conclusion that I had to be related to Bro. Steven.:) I'll miss knowing she isn't there at her house now,but,I'm happy she is with our Lord,your daddy and Jess.
