Monday, June 05, 1933 to Saturday, March 17, 2012 A Resident of Glen Allen, MO Visitation Services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley, MO Ronald "Mack" McCormick, age 78, of Glen Allen, MO; passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 5, 1933 at Chaffee, MO; son of Ben and Virgie Lee McCormick. He and Shirley Jo Johnson were united in marriage on March 3, 1962. Mr. McCormick retired from the Western Electric Company, worked as a Bail Bondsmen, a cattle farmer, and special Deputy for Bollinger County. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Mason's and a member of the Lutesville Presbyterian Church. Survivors include; wife Jo of Glen Allen; son Ronnie McCormick of Scott City; brothers Harold McCormick of Marble Hill; Gerald McCormick of Houston, MO; Cecil McCormick of McKinney, TX; sisters Donna McCormick of West Plains, MO; Patty Greer of Prescott Arizona; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; son Randy McCormick and sister Rita Menard. In Lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Marble Hill Relay for Life or Charity of Choice. Visitation will be Monday, March 19, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. A Masonic Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Bass officiating. Interment will follow in the Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley, MO with full military honors. So sorry to hear of mac,s passing, I pray that God will lift you up as only he can, may the lord bless you in this time of grief. I love Uncle Mack and will miss him dearly. Aunt Jo and Ron, please know my prayers are with you! Love you both! Dear Jo and Family, Debbie and I were so saddened to hear of Mack's passing. I have so many fond memories of Mack and always held him in high regard. I am so happy that I was able to see him and talk with him earlier this winter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
