Sunday, April 01, 1945 to Wednesday, February 13, 2008 A Resident of Sedgewickville, MO Visitation Services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, MO Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church The Final Resting Place is at the Sedgewickville Cemetery in Sedgewickville, MO Sharon Kay Smith, 62 years old, of Sedgewickville, MO, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the family home. She was born April 1, 1945 at Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter of Elzia Miles and Vera Edna Statler James. She and Kenneth Ray Smith were married August 13, 1966. Mrs. Smith had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a Supervisor in the Business Office, Telephone Company Credit Union, Telephone Pioneers, a member of the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church where she was on the Church Council, Lutheran League, Sedgewickville Lutheran Cemetery Fund, American Business Woman Association, Order of the Eastern Star, FFA, Meadow Heights Alumni, Willing Workers and a member of the 4 H club. She previously owned the Country Mall in Sedgewickville and co-owner of Through the Years Antique Mall in Jackson, MO. Survivors include; her husband Kenneth of Sedgewickville, one daughter Rayla Kay Bishop of Jackson, two brothers, Terry W. (Pam) James of Jackson, Lynn (Pam) James of Sedgewickville. Preceding her in death was her parents. Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM with the Order of the Eastern Star service at 7:30PM. Then on Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 AM at the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jerry Bailey and Rev. William Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Sedgewickville Cemetery in Sedgewickville. May the Lord be with you all. Our hearts go out to you. Vicky is in a far better place. She has left you all two beautiful babies to love for her. Lorilee & Jim My prayers are with you all.Vicky was my sister at onetime and I let a grudge keep us apart for so long.I'm very thankful we have said our sorries and I was privledged enough to meet two loving children that are truely a blessing.I regret not getting together I missed her all those years. So if anyone is reading this don't ever hold a grudge you will miss out on alot of happiness.God tells us he wants to be first in our lives and when we give our lives to him and trust him that he will take care of us the happiness pours out .Please if you need anything don't hesitate to call.
