Tuesday, October 13, 1936 to Wednesday, February 17, 2010 A Resident of Zalma, MO Visitation Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Shirley Ann Rhodes, 73, of Zalma, MO; died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1936, at Greenbrier, MO; daughter of Omer and Lora Cato Wiseman. She and Charles Rhodes were united in marriage on April 5, 1953. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church where she had served as Children's Puppet Ministry Leader. In previous Church ministries she served her Lord as a Sunday School Teacher and Children's Worship Leader. Survivors include: her husband, Charles Rhodes of Zalma, three sons, Mike Rhodes of Neosho, MO; John Rhodes of Zalma, MO; David Rhodes of Knightdale, NC; two daughters, Patsy Hovis of Centennial, CO; Linda Renfro of Edwardsville, IL; one sister, Judy Boland of Advance, MO; fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Edward Wiseman, and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Rhodes, Rev. John Rhodes, Rev. David Rhodes and Rev. Dusty Whittley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill. We love you all and will miss Granny dearly. We wish we could make it to be there with you to celebrate her life. Praise God for her example and impact on everyone she encountered.
