Debra Jones

It is with deep sadness but divine peace, we share that Debra "Debbie" Sue Jones, 67, of Marble Hill, Missouri, departed this life on June 7, 2026, at her home in Marble Hill, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family. The youngest of five children, Debbie was born on August 28, 1958, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Clifton and Irene Trentham, who resided in Marble Hill, Missouri, at the time of her birth. Shortly after graduating Woodland High School, on September 4, 1976, Debbie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Randy Masters, in Lutesville, Missouri. They had two children: Michelle and Chris, and were married 29 years during which time they ministered as Pastor to many Assembly of God churches in the Southeast Missouri area before Randy's passing in 2006. Along with serving beside Randy as Pastor's wife, Debbie worked for the State of Missouri for 35 years, where she retired in 2011 as an Eligibility Specialist. In 2009, Debbie met Monnie Jones, who brought love and laughter into her heart once again, and they married on May 7, 2010, in Dexter, Missouri, where they resided. Through this marriage, she gained a son, Thomas, and two daughters, Torrie and Tiffanie. She wrapped them in her love, always supporting them as her own. Later, they moved to the Marble Hill area, where she once again found herself serving in the role she was called to do, and that was serving alongside her husband Monnie, wherever he was pastoring. The past eight years they have embraced the family of Grace Fellowship Family Worship Center whom she loved dearly and shared with them her musical talent, along with teaching and serving wherever she was needed. Debbie was known to be enthusiastically hospitable with a nurturing spirit. She was a talented piano player and loved to sing, sharing this talent with her family and many others. She was best known for her infectious laugh and smile, and you couldn't help but enjoy being in her presence. Debbie's greatest accomplishment and role she loved best was being a mother to Michelle, Chris and later to Thomas, Torrie, and Tiffanie Jones and grandmother to her 15 grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren are testaments to her unselfish dedication & unwavering love for her family. She instilled her love of music, good food, a full table of family and friends and a passion for Jesus in every child and grandchild. No one ever walked away from Debbie's home without having experienced something wonderful to eat, as she was happiest in her kitchen whipping something up for others to enjoy. Her hospitality and love for cooking were her love language. Debbie was a true warrior as she overcame many obstacles throughout her life, but her latest battle was with cancer, and a year ago she received a bone marrow transplant. She fought a hard three-year journey that so many people have prayed and supported her through. She felt the depth of those prayers and always believed she would find complete restoration. Although the healing didn't come as we desired, we are confident she did receive her ultimate healing and gained the victory she prayed for. We are so incredibly grateful to have been loved by such an amazing woman for the time that we did; it just doesn't feel long enough. We stand on the hope and belief that we will see her again one day and know she is rejoicing with her Savior and loved ones gone before her. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Monnie Jones, of the home; 5 children: Michelle (Barry) Aycock of Parma, Missouri, Chris (Kristin) Masters of Dexter, Missouri, Thomas (Kelsey) Jones of Ironton, Missouri, Torrie (Brian) Wisdom of Bismark, Missouri and Tiffanie (Steven) Barnett of Farmington, Missouri; 15 grandchildren: Joel and Jonathan Aycock; Kaden Lirely, Ella, Beckett and Willow Masters; Roze, Victoria and Sophia Jones; Elleigh, Tucker and Mia Wisdom; Harper, Mercy and Briggs Barnett. Surviving siblings who were also recipients of her great love include Jim (Sarah) Trentham, Doris Denton, Jerry (Jennifer) Trentham and Kenny (Cathy) Trentham, along with many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Debbie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Irene Trentham and a brother-in-law, Kenny Denton. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 5-8 pm at the Grace Family Worship Center located at 27696 Hwy. 34, Marble Hill. A celebration to honor Debbie's life will be at the church on Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 1 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to visit from noon until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to" The Grace Center" at the Bank of Missouri in Marble Hill or placed in the basket beside the guest book (please write "Debbie Jones" in the memo).
