She was born April 2, 1947 the daughter of Sherman William Lincoln and Elsie Lou Upchurch Lincoln. On May 18, 1974 she was married to Edward Bennett (E.B.) Sims at Dripping Springs Church. After high school she attended Missouri University graduating with a B.S. in Accounting. She worked 45 years in Tax Preparation, worked for H and R Block, opening her own office in 1993, then owned and operated her own tax preparation business. She was a member of the National Society of Tax Practitioners. Survivors include her husband Edward Bennett (E.B.) Sims of Madison, Missouri; sons Carson Sherman Sims and wife Wendy of Madison, Missouri; Forrest Lee Sims of Fulton, Missouri. Eight brothers and sisters survive: Helen Jackson, Jackson, Missouri; Mary Lou Ozment, Sikeston, Missouri; Richard Lincoln, Linneus, Missouri; Donald Lincoln, Marble Hill, Missouri; Wanda Foster, Marble Hill, Missouri; Patricia Hendricks, Advance, Missouri; Gary Lincoln, Marble Hill, Missouri; LaDonna Petzoldt of Altenburg, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents Sherman William Lincoln and Elsie Lou (Upchurch) Lincoln and two brothers Jack Lincoln and Max Lincoln. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Missouri. Services will be held at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Missouri on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Cavenaugh, retired minister, Mt. Airy Church, Madison, Missouri. Interment will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Missouri.
