Sunday, December 10, 1916 to Sunday, January 01, 2012 A Resident of Jonesboro, AR Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Mae Marie Sitze, age 95, of Jonesboro, AR and formerly of Marble Hill, MO, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1916 daughter of Bennett Arthur and Carrie Etta Mouser Cobb near Glen Allen, MO. She and Wilson Edward Sitze were united in marriage on September 28, 1935 in Marble Hill; and he passed away on March 16, 1997. While living in Illinois she was an active member of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church of Wood River, IL. She was a seamstress, quilter and loved to crochet and continued to crochet until God took her home. After retiring and moving back to the farm she attended different Churches. She was a gardener and loved her flowers. Survivors include: daughters and spouses, Marcia Kay (David) Patton of East Alton, IL; Sharon Joan (Dan) Manns of Alton, IL; Francis Elaine (Ed) Dubar of Jonesboro, AK; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, a beloved cousin of Janet Poston and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers memorial are requested to the Old Trace Creek Church, Rev. Jim Bone, 1495 Madison 410, Fredericktown, MO 63645. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Bone and Rev. Ray Meek officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill. I'm sorry for your loss, but thankful for Marie that she "got her transfer" as Jesse liked to put it. I wish I could have been there with you in person. I'll pray for God to comfort you as you miss your Mother, and will thank Him for taking good care of her in the same prayer.
