Sunday, January 28, 1934 to Saturday, June 21, 2008 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen, MO Myrtle Marie Massa, 74, of Marble Hill, MO, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the Saint Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born January 28, 1934, in Delta, MO, and was the daughter of Jim and Pearl Newell Estes. She and Bro. Clinton L. Massa were married on December 20, 1952. Mrs. Massa was a homemaker, and a member of the McGee Chapel Church. Survivors include her husband, Bro. Clinton Massa of Marble Hill, four sons, David (Terry) Massa, Clinton (Debbie) Massa, Kenneth (Angie) Massa, and Edward "Eddie" (Tammy) Massa all of Marble Hill, one daughter, Mildred "Millie" (Bob) Koeppel of Marble Hill, MO, three brothers Arthur Estes of Marble Hill, Floyd Estes of St. Louis, Willard Estes of Zalma, MO, sixteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three great grandsons. Visitation will be on Monday, June 23, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Bro. Wayne Kirkpatrick and Bro. Lloyd Ray Green officiating. Burial will be in the McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen, MO. Bro. Clinton and family, I have such wonderful memories of Marie and you. From the first memory I have of you all at your place near us on Hwy 51 South when I was about 11-12 years old, and we lived near Possum Creek. So many times Daddy and Mom would mention the young couple up the road and then later got to know you and be in church with you all. I have always admired you both so much for the lives you have lived and the examples you have been to others. You see, everyday of our lives we are being examples of one kind or another to someone and it is good to look back and see the GOOD she did, and the good you are still doing. I pray that God will give you strength, Bro. Clinton, and that your children will realize what a legacy, in living for the Lord, that Marie has left behind. In all the years I have known you both, the love of God has always shone forth and we knew where you and Marie stood without a doubt. "ON THE SOLID ROCK". I know she is rejoicing and waiting for the rest to join her someday. Love and prayers, Bernia Uncle Clinton and Family, I don't know how to give my condolences when I am hurting so bad for her too. She was a second mother to me. I know she love me and I hope she knew how much I loved her. She was what every Christian woman should strive to be like. Yes, she has left behind a Great legacy to her children and grandchildren. She lived her life like the song she sung ,"One day at a Time". I can still hear her, raring back singing it. Uncle Clinton i love you dearly also and the children are like my own brothers and sisters. I love you all so much and I want to be there so bad... I'm trying to make arrangements but I have Ben to think about also. You know my circumstances. If I don't see you tomorrow please know I am there with you in spirit.
