Thursday, June 19, 1930 to Saturday, July 12, 2008 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Temple in Piedmont, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Glen Allen Cemetery in Glen Allen, MO Ralph Collier, age 78, of Marble Hill, MO died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born June 19, 1930 in Commerce, MO, son of Freeman and Esther Mitchell Collier. He and Frances E. Wagner were united in marriage on February 6, 1955. Ralph was a life long farmer. At the age of 28 he gave his life to Christ. He was a member of Victory Baptist Temple in Piedmont, MO where he was a great encourager and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his church family. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Survivors include: his wife; Frances, three sons; Charles and Brian Collier both of Marble Hill, Michael Collier of Conway, Arkansas, three daughters; Rhonda Fahrenkrog, Esther McCormick, and Beverly Lincoln all of Marble Hill, one brother; Freeman Collier Jr. of Villa Ridge, IL, five sisters; Naomi Simmons of Scott City, Carrie Trentham of Jackson, Barbara Kehoe and Helen Holland of St. Louis, MO Charlotte Schneider of Fredericktown, twenty one grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson. Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Then again on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Temple in Piedmont, MO with the Bro. Elmo Parker and Bro. Michael Collier officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery in Glen Allen, MO with full military honors provided by the Missouri Military Honors Team. My condolences to my sister Frances and the Collier family, Ralph will be missed. Bro Mike our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. What a fine and big family Mr. Collier has. I know he will be missed by all here on earth, but greated with open arms by our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Just reading and hearing about Mr. Collier has been an inspiration to me.
