Tuesday, August 08, 1922 to Friday, August 17, 2007 A Resident of Fredericktown, MO Visitation Services will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Glen Allen Cemetery in Glen Allen, MO Ruth Lucille Johnson, age 85, of Fredericktown, Mo and formerly of Glen Allen, Mo, died Friday August 17, 2007 at the ClaRu Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born at Glen Allen, August 9, 1922, daughter of Charles L. and Margaret Ann Dellinger Cobb. She married Roy A. Johnson at Glen Allen December 20, 1947 and he died August 23, 1998. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Baptist Church at Glen Allen. Survivors include one daughter Linda (Oscar) Govreau, Fredericktown, four grandchildren; Steve (Cindy) Vaugh, Festus, MO, Jerry (Debbie) Govreau, Park Hills, MO, Mike (Charlon) Govreau, Festus, MO, Dan (Teresa) Govreau, Farmington, MO, seven great grandchildren; Chris, Zach, Cody Bradley, Kylie, Joseph and Emma Grace, a sister-in-law Joyce Johnson, Marble Hill, a Nephew Jack (Jeanie) Cobb, Morris, IL, nieces Janice Proffer, Glen Allen, Betty Kirkpatrick, Poplar Bluff, MO, Norma Crews, Douglasville, GA and a special niece-in-law Carol (Lowell) Walker, Glen Allen, There are several other great nieces and nephews survive. Preceding her in death was her husband, two brothers; Roy O. Cobb, Everett Cobb and one sister Mayme Cobb and a niece Esther Ann Cobb. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:30 to 7:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The funeral service will be Monday 11:00 A.M., August 20, 2007, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carl Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery. Linda, I want to extend my deepest condolences on your loss of a dear mother. I will always have a special place in my heart for your parents. Glen Allen was blessed with them, and growing up in church with them was special. I know my parents will miss the trips to see her.
