Thursday, July 30, 1936 to Saturday, September 11, 2010 A Resident of Marble Hill, MO Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO The Final Resting Place is at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO Shirley Mae (Morgan) Durbin, age 74, of Marble Hill, passed away on Saturday September 11, 2010 at Saint John's Mercy in St. Louis, MO. She was born July 30, 1936 in Arkansas; daughter of Calvin and Ruth Roberts Beard. She first married F. D. Morgan and later married Charles Durbin who preceded her in death on August 28, 1990. Mrs. Durbin worked in the Hat Factory as a machine operator and later she worked as a nurses aid in the home health industry. Survivors include: three sons, Ricky Morgan of Jackson, Eddie Morgan of Advance, MO; Shane Morgan of Marble Hill; one daughter Donna Long of Marble Hill; three brothers, John Beard of Valley Park, MO; Junior Beard of Tennessee, Mike Beard of Hornersville, MO; two sisters Betty Crouch and Mary Ridings both of Hornersville, MO; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles and one sister. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill. Donna and wayne so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.I never met your mom but you and I have talked about her health at times.Her sickness is over now and she will reast in the arms of our dear lord.So glad you and Wayne are doing better and not in hospital.Dona you were always a friend in work and each day.You and wayne are special people.May all the lovely memories of your mom carry you thru each day,God bless you all. your friend Shirley Dear Donna, To the dearest friend I ever had, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. All the years we have gone to church and served and worshipped God just doesn't prepare us to lose our mother. I had a lot of good times with you and your mom. She was a very sweet person. The memories will be precious from now on and God will sustain the soul and the heart with healing. I love you and I appreciate the friend you have been and will always be.
